Medium size, their body build and instincts enable Australian shepherds to succesfully perform in various dogs sports.

Agility

Our first dog sport was agility. We started training onther a sharp eye of Polona Bonač. Ginny had a lot of fun during our trainings and she could soon run full parkour. Well except for weave-polls. We are still trying to master weaving. It takes a lot of practice and that's exatly the opposite of what we are doing at the moment I'm sure that when I find some extra time Ginny will master weavepolls too and when she does we're probably going to attend a competition or two. Just to get the idea of how it all works.

DogFrisbee

Aussies are very successful witch catching frisbees and performing tricks all over the world. Here in Slovenia this is a pretty new dog sport, but it's developing fast and it's getting more and more enthusiastics among humans and dogs. We also have our first DogFrisbee club called Flipsi, taking care of first classes in Ljubljana and some other cities. We are learning new throws, we practise various tricks and other frisbee elements. I love the fact that I don't need a big parkour with special obstacles. Some frisbees, a nice grassy field is all I need to get the party started
